The team of registered nurses at Allison House have experience in mental health and general physical health nursing which gives the team a holistic approach to each individual.
The activity co-ordinators support person centred care by completing life story books and really getting to know each resident and their own unique story. We maintain life long hobbies, support the residents in meaningful activities and hold fun annual events and celebrations.
We have monthly coffee mornings where relatives can meet the team and keep up to date with recent events and future plans!

Allison House has completed the Gold Standard Framework (GSF) in End of Life Care. This enables the registered nurses to palliatively care for residents when the time comes within Allison House. Emergency Health Care plans are developed to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions and to keep residents in a familiar environment with staff who know them well.
